On Thursday March 26, 2015 Bailey House’s Gala & Auction will be held at Pier 60 of Chelsea Piers. The Gala will honor the heroism of individuals and organizations that help further the Bailey House mission of transforming the lives of people with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses through housing, health services and community.
The Gala will be hosted by Ted Allen, host of Food Network’s Chopped and spokesperson for Dining Out For Life®. The storied Auction follows the Gala and remains one of the hottest parties in town. Featured Auction items include Robert Mapplethorpe and Herb Ritts photographs; a stay at Gaia Hotel and Reserve, a 5 star resort in Costa Rica; VIP set visit to The Good Wife; tickets to The Visit and backstage meet-and-greet with Chita Rivera; luxurious getaways to Paris and Los Angeles/Palm Springs; outstanding works of established and contemporary artists; and a unique and robust selection of home furnishings and décor. Through generous sponsorships, celebrity support and phenomenal auction items, Bailey House has raised over $15M since its inaugural event in 1988. All proceeds benefit Bailey House programs that help transform the lives of low-income New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses.

Jane Pauley, a respected television anchor and journalist who is a longtime supporter of Bailey House and a powerful advocate in the field of mental health.
Brad Goldfarb and Alfredo Paredes, generous philanthropic leaders from the worlds of media, fashion and design.
New York City Council Member Corey Johnson, a passionate leader in addressing the inequities in housing and access to healthcare facing low-income and HIV-positive New Yorkers.
