Trends come and go, but some have staying power. Check out these four trends from last year that are still going strong for 2015.
Grey really hit the scene in the summer of 2014. We were seeing the color in hazy, monochromatic styles featuring casual, solid materials.
Update for 2015: Cooler greys with blue undertones will reign this year and will be a combination of both solids and striking patterns.

As we predicted, ethnic prints and themes are still going strong.
Update for 2015: This year, the ethnic look leans toward décor inspired by African culture with elements like kuba textiles, zebra stripes, and rattan furniture. We suggest balancing a motif like this with modern, streamlined pieces.

Trompe l’oeil architectural features and faux finishes became increasingly popular last year in both fashion and décor.
Update for 2015: This year’s big trompe l’oeil trend will be the faux gallery wall wallpaper. There is a wide variety of styles out there from ornate and historical to modern and customizable. We like the idea of filling in empty-framed versions with your own artwork.

A deep combination of blue and violet, indigo’s rich color brought a regal sense to homes in 2014.
Update for 2015: Raw, interesting textures will usher indigo into 2015. We like it in grasscloth wallpapers and fabrics that mimic basket weave patterns.
