Our Holiday House NYC 2014 coverage continues with two jaw-dropping rooms from Amy Lau & Matthew Patrick Smyth. Check them out:
Matthew Patrick Smyth transformed this living room into an elegant space that speaks to the traditional spirit of the Academy Mansion while layering in mid-century modern elements, abstract art and unique collectibles. The space is decorated entirely in Schumacher fabrics to honor the manufacturer’s 125th anniversary.

When Amy Lau stepped into this 100 year old room, she immediately envisioned the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles. She installed each of the panels on the wall with mirrors, which you can do at home or get a similar look by using a metallic silver wallpaper. We love how she features vivid red pomegranates in crystal bowls for the tablescape, which is an easy way to dress up your table for the holidays.
